“What about La Voute, the chic new cafe on Archway Island of all places, which doesn't just serve a mouth watering selection of patisserie and fresh cooked food, but has a lovely back garden — unheard of in my 'hood.” Charlotte Ross, The Evening Standard - 05/09/2008
“You must try La Voute’s Signature Breakfast – freshly prepared with the crispest lettuce and creamy scrambled egg, tangy lamb sausage and delicious halloumi cheese. This makes the perfect late morning brunch…” Chris H -02/11/2008
“Wow! I went here for the first time this weekend, and I'll definitely be going back! There were so many tempting things on the menu, but I went for the vegetarian breakfast, which came with the best scrambled eggs I have ever had! My friend had the aubergine filled with goats cheese, which I'm told was delicious.
The café has really nice fresh juices, as well as hot drinks. And the cakes and salads look absolutely amazing! My next visit there may be simply to try the cakes / pastries, as this time I was full up from my main course - (really big portion sizes).
There's a lovely garden area too, which will definitely be a winner once the weather gets a bit warmer.
Five stars!” Luci F 01/12/2008
"I have to say that the La Voute Bistro served a quality meal in a clean and friendly environment. Having taken some business colleagues for lunch, the meal was superb, the service was great and even better the bill was great value for money."

“The Mona Lisa in a tracksuit on a housing estate? This isn’t the only artwork to provide a talking point at this soothing Mediterranean café. Lamb sausages and halloumi join eggs on the breakfast menu. Brioche served with goat's cheese, fresh pear, strawberry jam and green salad is one of the more unusual lunchtime offerings. Our mint and lemon tisane was full of fresh verdant leaves and brought by warmly welcoming staff. At rear is a tempting garden. Salads and soup of the day (maybe spicy tomato, £2.95) are available to go.” – TimeOut Friday 7th November.
